ManTech Senior Executives Recognized by the Industry and their Peers
ManTech President Bob Coleman nominated for Corporate Executive of the Year by the Association for Corporate Growth
ManTech Chairman George Pedersen receives Federal 100 Award
FAIRFAX, Virginia, April 28, 2008 -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) announced today that its top leaders – ManTech Chairman and CEO George J. Pedersen, and ManTech President and COO, Robert A. Coleman, were recently honored for their success at ManTech and their contributions to the industry.
Mr. Coleman was nominated as the Corporate Executive of the Year for 2007 by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) National Capital Chapter in April. He was recognized for his role in two major acquisitions ManTech made in 2007 -– SRS Technologies for $199 million and McDonald Bradley for $79 million. He was also cited for helping ManTech achieve a record year in 2007 resulting in 27% revenue growth; 21% percent net income growth and 19% earnings per share growth.
The ManTech acquisition of SRS Technologies was also nominated for a Deal of the Year award at the ACG event. ACG is a leading authority on corporate growth in the Washington metropolitan area.
George Pedersen Wins Federal 100 Award
George J. Pedersen, ManTech Chairman and CEO, received a prestigious, “Federal 100 Award” in March from Federal Computer Week, a leading government information technology publication. The 2008 Federal 100 awards recognized individuals who have made a difference in the federal information technology arena in 2007. The award winners are nominated by Federal Computer Week readers for their “contributions to the development, acquisition or management of federal IT.” Winners are recognized for excellence in producing better programs and purchasing quality IT products, enabling the federal government to better serve its citizens.
The award said that “Colleagues describe George J. Pedersen, Chairman and CEO of ManTech International Corporation as an adroit manager who is deeply engaged in running the company. His dedication to ManTech and its success is unquestioned. His leadership has kept ManTech at the top among the pure-play information technology providers in the government information technology market.”
