ManTech has broad experience in flight hardware design, assembly, handling and integration. Complete engineering/technical support is available for the development, fabrication, qualification and launch of flight payloads. Recent programs include the Tropical Rainfall Measuring and Hubble Telescope Servicing Missions. ManTech provides thermal and structural analysis, flight structure design, harness design and assembly, ground equipment, transport services, test fixtures, and blankets for thermal control.
ManTech developed the first large scale Capillary Pumped Loop (CAPL) thermal system flown in space. This two-phase loop uses capillary forces and the latent heat of vaporization to transfer heat from an instrument to a radiator sink. Prototypes flown aboard STS-60 and 69 led to development of the upgraded CAPL to be flown on the Earth Observing System satellite.
ManTech will provide answers to your questions and quote (fixed price -or- time and materials) for testing of your hardware at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
