ManTech led the effort to develop the Joint Regional Information Exchange System (JRIES) for the Defense Intelligence Agency. This enterprise-wide system has since been adapted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as the primary system for communicating information related to terrorist events. JRIES is part of the DHS Homeland Security Information Network which promotes information sharing to reduce vulnerabilities and increase the real-time flow of encrypted information between homeland security partners.
