Sentris Server

• Easily define and customize the security metadata that Sentris will manage to suit individual needs. Templates are provided for common U.S. government classification marking standards, such as CAPCO.
• Robust and flexible usage rules allow markings to be configured to control the use of other markings within the system.

Sentris Labeling for Microsoft Office

• Seamlessly integrated within the Microsoft Office 2007 Word®, PowerPoint®, Excel®, and Project® user interfaces.
• Easy to use document labeling functionality that prompts the user to select security metadata for the document and inserts the appropriate security label into the header and footer of the document.
• Stores document security labels in a format that can be automatically interpreted by other applications in the Sentris platform.
• Portion marking utility that enables users to easily mark paragraphs, figures, and tables with a security label.
• Automatically scans documents for portion markings and resolves portion markings into minimum security settings for the document.
• Integrated with Sentris Sensitive Word Search to scan documents for sensitive words and phrases to aid users in assigning the appropriate security label for the document.
• Integrated with Windows Rights Management Services to automatically apply rights management policies to documents based upon the security label associated with the document.

Sentris Protection for Microsoft Outlook/Exchange

• Easy to use e-mail message/calendar/task labeling functionality that prompts the user to select security metadata for the message and inserts the appropriate security label into the header and footer of the message.
• Replies and forwards of E-mail messages automatically inherit appropriate security labels.
• Integrated with Sentris Office to automatically discover the security labels associated with attached documents and set minimum security settings for e-mail messages.
• Support for portion markings and Sentris Sensitive Word Search.
• Directly integrated with the Microsoft Exchange 2007 Transport Service to intercept and validate all incoming e-mail messages to ensure that the recipients of each e-mail message are authorized to receive the message based on the security label associated with the message.
• Restricts delivery of messages to unauthorized recipients and sends a delivery failure notice to the message sender.

Sentris Protection for Open Text Livelink Enterprise Content Management®

• Adds functionality to ensure that all content uploaded to the Livelink ECM repository contains a Sentris security label.
• Establishes additional security controls within Livelink by automatically filtering content in the Livelink ECM repository if the end user is not authorized to access the security label associated with the content.
• Livelink search engine extended to allow end users to quickly locate relevant information while protecting information that users are not authorized to access.
• Displays color-coded security banners within the Livelink user interface that inform users of the security level of the currently displayed item.

Sentris Instant Messaging for Microsoft Office Communications Server

• Custom instant messaging client developed using the Microsoft Office Communications Server SDK.
• Requires users to specify a security label for each instant messaging conversation and validates that both parties are authorized to access the security label before allowing the conversation to proceed.
• Displays color-coded security banners within instant messaging conversations to inform users of the security level of the conversation.

Sentris Software Development Kit

• Enables organizations and independent software vendors to integrate their custom or commercial applications with the Sentris platform.
• Extensive Application Programming Interfaces and sample code allows developers to focus on integrating Sentris with their applications rather than developing functionality to collect security labels and validate access controls.
• Web Services based for ease of integration into Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
