Frequently Asked Questions 


How do I apply for a position?

To apply, find the position you that you want to apply against.  Pull up the full description by clicking on the job title in the search and click the ‘Submit to job’ button on the top or bottom of the screen.  This will bring up a screen to log into our system.  If you have logged in before, enter your email address used when creating your account and the password you selected for your account.    If you have an account and forgot your password, the ‘forgot password’ link is below the username/password blocks on the screen.  You will be able to select from multiple resumes you may have saved and cover letters.  You won’t be able to view the resume from this screen but can replace that named resume if you paste within the resume block.  The cover letter will be displayed for your editing capabilities.  If you haven’t logged in before, please click the ‘create new account’ link above the username/password blocks on the page.   This will take you to a screen to upload a resume from your disk, create a resume from scratch or past a resume within the block.  The system will try to extract some contact information from you resume and display this information for your correction and/or approval.  At the bottom of the page will be questions, please answer the questions and click the button ‘submit to job(s)’.  This will complete your submittal to the position.  You should receive an email back within a few minutes verifying the submittal was completed.

Why does the website tell me the page is unavailable or restricted?

The website is a database driven site.  The site uses session cookies that may be no longer on your computer or expired, creating a bookmarked a page or job that is no longer active.  Please start from the beginning of the site and search for the position you are searching.

Why can't I find the position listed on a other job boards (i.e. Monster or AJB)?

ManTech's Career Site is a real-time system. Job boards updates may trail our website by a couple of days. If the job you are looking for is no longer posted, it could be filled or cancelled. Please use www.mantech.com site as a complete and current listing.

Why does the site say cookies are disabled when I have verified they are not?

The answer to this question could be one of several items.  Please start with the first choice even if another may be the cause.  This will give you the best possibility of finding the problem.

  1. Clear your cache on your browser (see: How can I clear my cache?).  Then close your browser and start over with a new browser window.
  2. Check to see if you are behind a firewall.  If so, please open up the firewall to mantech.com and brassring.com for our systems to work.
  3. Are you using one of the tested Browsers/Systems? (See: What are the browsers and systems that are compatible?)
  4. If you are still having trouble, please send the error along with the operating system and browser you are using to:  jobs@mantech.com for analysis.  We may contact you for further information.

Who can I send my resume to?

ManTech International Corporation has over 300 locations around the world.  The people who may need to look at your information may be in multiple locations in any number of these locations.  Our web-based system will allow them to all view and comment on your resume at the same time, thus saving time trying to get the right people for the right positions.  Trying to process paper can add weeks to this endeavor or missing the best person for this position.  Please enter your information within our web-based system to help both you and ManTech.

How can I clear my cache?

Use the following procedures to clear your cache/temporary files:

Internet Explorer

  • If you are logged in to Enterprise, click the Log Out link on the home page to log out of Enterprise
  • From the Internet Explorer toolbar, click Tools and select Internet Options
  • Click the Settings Button located in the Temporary Internet Files Section
  • Click the View Files Button
  • Select Edit and click Select All to highlight all of the files
  • Click the Delete Files Icon on the Internet Explorer toolbar or right-click any of the highlighted files and select Delete
  • Click the Yes button at the confirmation prompt
  • Click the Clear History button located in the History Section
  • Click the Yes button at the confirmation prompt
  • Close all Internet Explorer windows

Netscape Navigator 4.x

  • If you are logged in to Enterprise, click the Log Out link on the home page to log out of Enterprise
  • Click the Edit menu and select Preferences from the dropdown list
  • Click the Cache submenu
  • Click the Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache buttons
  • Click the OK button
  • Close all Netscape windows

Netscape 6.x

  • If you are logged in to Enterprise, click the Log Out link on the home page to log out of Enterprise
  • Click the Edit menu and select Preferences from the dropdown list
  • Double-click the Privacy & Security Menu Option to displayed its submenus
  • Click the Cookies submenu
  • Click the View Stored Cookies button
  • Click the Remove All Cookies button and then the OK button
  • Double-click Advanced from the menu on the left
  • Click both the Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache buttons
  • Close all Netscape windows

      Note: If you are unable to clear your cache, this may be a network security decision and you will need to contact your IT department.

Why can't I upload my resume?/Why am I having problems applying?

The resume upload section of this website and the application process will use a pop-up window for resume upload/selection. Yahoo toolbar, Microsoft XP SP2+, firewalls, and other third party software may have installed a pop-up blocker. You need to add this site into the trusted site locations for the pop-up blocker or disable the pop-up blocker while you are on this site. Please check the help section of your software for directions on how to store trusted sites. This site is a combination of two domains, mantech.com and brassring.com, both domains should be on the trusted sites.
