Current projects include:

Developing a pilot system and plan for implementing electronic foreign customs interfaces in eleven countries. This technology requires a strong IT background and a precise understanding of electronic commerce infrastructure components.

Pilot testing of UN/EDIFACT Orders Message. This effort demands expertise in both ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT standards analysis, mapping, semantic assessment, value-added networks, the government electronic commerce infrastructure, and emerging Internet electronic commerce technologies.

Semantic equivalency assessment and migration analysis in support of the Defense Fuels Supply Center. Involves dual use of both the ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT EDI standards in tandem.

Concept assistance in defining information services based on object-oriented technology for realizing an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) between government and industry.

Concept formulation and pilot demonstration testing based on the Internet, multimedia tools, and a range of services to facilitate collaboration on EC/EDI strategy and issues.

Information modeling, business process improvement, and business case formulation for the IDE and EC/EDI infrastructures utilizing EDI standards.
