Training MSEC brings decades of experience in installing, integrating, and implementing some of the world's most sophisticated mobile, airborne, surface, sub-surface, satellite, and land-based equipment, including systems for command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I), signal processing, acoustic tracking, information technology (IT), logistics, testing, and training.

Over the years, we have not only proven our ability to assemble teams of experts who bring the technical understanding of new systems but also have hands-on experience in making these systems work within the tactical environment and have the ability to train others to use, operate, and maintain these systems throughout their life cycle. Specific examples of Training Solutions offered by MSEC are discussed in more detail in the paragraphs that follow.

Instructor-led Training

Training More than 700 personnel employed by MSEC are part of our larger parent company, ManTech International, which employs nearly 5000 additional personnel. This deep resource of qualified and competent employees provides ready access to Instructor-led Training. Currently, ManTech has approximately 200 trainers on staff and 2,500+ training partners who are Subject Matter Experts in various fields of expertise including IT, End User, and Professional Development. Additionally, our affiliations with multiple Industry leaders, Government agencies and organizations, and Colleges and Universities allow for Instructor-led Training location flexibility in our classrooms or your facility.

E-Learning

E-learning, Web-based Training can be utilized to supplement classroom-based learning or as its own Training Solution available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at virtually limitless geographical locations. Through varied modalities, MSEC offers seminars, hardware and software (HW/SW) simulations, HW/SW and learning assessments, within virtual labs and collaborative environments.

Consulting

In addition to the technical systems training discussed above, MSEC offers consulting and instruction in Project/Program Management, Instructional Design, Gap Analysis, Needs Assessments, Testing and Evaluation, Learning Strategy and Readiness, Organizational and Process Impact, and Competency Development.

The success or failure of a learning initiative will be determined by the ability to execute upon a sound design. As is true for any business application designed to enable transformation, a solid approach is required to ensure a successful deployment. Some of the specific objectives of ManTech’s learning consulting services are to:

  • Survey the organization to understand the cultural readiness and need for a learning solution. This will include determining the modalities that will be used to deliver the learning solution(s).
  • Determine and document the business needs that work in support of learning solutions and the impact, both financially and culturally, a learning solution would have on the organization.
  • Develop a preliminary curriculum design for each major job classification within the client’s site, including customers and partners.
  • Assess the technical infrastructure needed to support learning. Preliminary recommendations will be made on how the client’s current technical capabilities should be enhanced to support learning.
  • Define and make recommendations regarding the functional requirements for the Learning Management System that may be needed in order to implement a scalable, extended enterprise-Learning initiative.
  • Define the job roles and responsibilities that are required to execute the learning strategy.
  • Describe a communication and ownership approach that fits within the client’s culture and organizational structure.

The results of the services performed will enable ManTech and our clients to better:

  • Define learning needs and solutions with media and mode recommendations based on IT infrastructure, the business model, cost limitations, learning readiness, available generic content and competencies.
  • Recommend LMS functionality and specifications.
