A competitive strategy game based on the ancient
game of chess that teaches the fundamentals and nuances of classic information
warfare. Participants use information denial, deception, intelligence
collection and other IO "tools" to learn how to gain a competitive advantage over an adversary. Available as a board game or online.
Five courses on information systems security (ISS)
are offered. The Fundamentals course gives
students the skills, policy familiarity and technical understanding
necessary to perform the job functions of an Information Assurance Officer. The Advanced course
increases an IA professional's ability to securely configure operating
systems and mitigate the threats facing information systems today.
