ManTech delivered the Zone Inspection Application (ZIA) software product to the U.S. Navy. ZIA is a wireless handheld solution that enables a system ship-check process. Using Palm PDA devices, inspection data is gathered and transmitted wirelessly to a centralized server. This eliminates data re-entry errors and the data is immediately available at the central database server where real-time reports can be viewed by program management personnel as the inspection is occurring. To improve the accessibility and availability of these reports, they are viewed over the Internet using a secure website. Once the ship inspection is complete, the final report is immediately available to our customer on the secure website.
