Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Analyst to join our Metrics & Continual Service Improvement team at the Annapolis Junction, Maryland location within the Delivery Assurance Framework.

The mission of the Delivery Assurance Framework is to provide best-in-class service to support the delivery objectives of our internal program stakeholders; and ensure consistent, high quality and timely deliverables to our client. The Data Analyst will coordinate / oversee multiple tasks and deliverables, create original reports to satisfy ad-hoc metric requests, provide on-time delivery of program deliverables, and provide input to team weekly status reports.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand and have experience in specifying, collecting, processing and presenting information from potentially several different data sets
  • Create and maintain operational metrics for the program
  • Identify any reported metrics that may have reporting and calculation errors and work with the perspective teams to research and identify root cause
  • Retrieve, validate, format, and organize a variety of data from many sources
  • Conduct data analysis to answer standard or recurring inquiries and identify trends, correlation, and other relationships in data sets
  • Work across various stakeholders to understand data trends, sources, and analysis goals and connect data to business processes to obtain a deeper understanding of potential considerations and assumptions
  • Create reports in ServiceNow using the native Reports and Performance Analytics modules
  • Create management reporting metrics using available sources (ServiceNow, MS Excel)
  • Review, prioritize, assign, track & respond to taskings
  • Work in a cross-team organization to support all operations within the Framework to meet targeted goals
  • Act as a backup for preparing the SLA monthly self-assessment delivery to the client
  • Perform special projects as needed and other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and four years of experience. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Possess excellent data gathering and analytical skills
  • Possess strong speaking, writing, and presentation skills
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills necessary for quickly developing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data from many different types of sources
  • Ability to create adhoc reports utilizing data output from ServiceNow into Microsoft Excel or other tools
  • Utilize data to identify trending that will drive continuous improvement priorities to ensure the program achieves a high level of performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in ServiceNow Performance Analytics
  • Courses completed in Data Analytics or Data Science
  • Splunk knowledge and/or certifications

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as the copy machine/computer printer
