Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

Description:  

  • The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III focuses on Scaled Agile Scrum activities, organization and kickoff of initial and monthly technical meetings and status reports, and preparation of a Program Management Plan (PMP). They provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management across all customer domains as specified by the contract and consistent with negotiated Service Level Agreements (SLA). They recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements and support the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures, as well as design and implement security-related products on an enterprise level, then integrate products into the current environment. They participate in the change management process, including reviewing Change Requests and assisting in assessing the security impact of proposed changes. They monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and functions are properly restored and functioning correctly following an outage, and work on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment. They report to the Cyber Services Manager IV. The ISSO III is a senior role requiring experience with Scaled Agile development methodologies, and other security-related aspects of a Program Management Plan. The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff. Include the outcomes the position is responsible for, why the outcomes are important to the company and what the company’s values are.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of position-specific relevant experience, with ten (10) years of overall IT/IS experience.
  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
  • Experience in program planning and Agile Scrum project planning, execution and management, and Jira and Confluence tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or certifications associated with Risk Management Framework (RMF), ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 or DCID 6/3.
  • Experience in current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD. Program planning certifications, e.g., Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), Scaled Agile, etc.

Clearance Requirements:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Eligible clearance is required prior to starting this position.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $119,000-$198,300. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
