What drew you to ManTech?
I love being part of a fast-growing company that provides employees with many opportunities for growth.
What is or has been the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served for 11 years. I worked as a command security manager. During that time, I was able to travel a lot and meet many different and interesting people and develop lasting relationships.
What advice do you have for prospective ManTech candidates?
Do your research. Learn about the company and its values and apply what you learn to your life. If you understand the company, its culture and its missions, you will go far in your career. Know what is expected of you and aim for greater. That will set you up for success.
What do you like most about ManTech?
The people and the company culture. It really is a family.
Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
One of our great program managers. Just to be able to understand and grasp the day-to-day tasks to learn what it takes to be an effective leader in the PM role. I was taught in the military to plan and think ahead to the next level. Growth is the No. 1 driver toward success.
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where you haven’t yet been, where would it be and why?
Thailand … and swim with the Elephants.
What does “Securing the Future” mean to you?
Making sure I set myself up for success and that I design the right blueprint for my family for financial freedom, educational opportunities and a healthy retirement.
