I had the opportunity to work on enhancing web services at CJIS by translating Web Service Description Languages (WDSLs) into Java code and testing web service methods. I also worked on documenting the WSDLs and provided a web service versioning policy. This versioning policy will be used to inform development teams about different services and provides recommendations for combating the backward compatibility issue.
