What are the problems you help ManTech to solve?

I am grateful for the opportunity to help shape and develop the future talent at ManTech. This generation of bright and talented students are the ones who will make the most impact on our world’s most critical challenges and “securing our future” across the globe. I am proud to help ManTech solve the challenges occurring across our government through our mission-oriented internship and early career development program.

How do you start your day before work?

WITH A BIG CUP OF BLACK COFFEE (that’s right- no milk or sugar!!!) ? I need my morning coffee or else I can’t fully wake up! There’s nothing like a fresh cup of coffee in the morning to jumpstart my day - once I get my first sip I am ready to tackle anything!

What is your number one tip for combating distractions when working from home?

You’d think I would be good at this by now since we’ve been working remotely for about a year and a half! But sometimes it’s still a mental battle, haha! To drive away those distractions I make sure to create a “zen” environment for myself – shutting the door, turning off my phone/ any laptop alarms, and also communicating to everyone in the house to not bother me for a few hours!

What is one important skill you think everyone should have?

Time Management- Especially now with the boundaries blurring between work and homelife, it is easy to lose track of time and not get your daily/weekly tasks done! Mastering the skill of time management has significantly helped me to prioritize and knock out my tasks and optimize the limited time I have throughout the workweek. (And “To-Do” lists have been a huge help with this too!)

Which superhero/ Anti-Hero character would you be and why?

In another life, I would be the “Fantabulous” Harley Quinn! She is always getting into trouble (from the hijinks and shenanigans she created, of course), but has her wits about her and finds ways to get out of it, while having tons of fun along the way! She is crazy carefree and not afraid to be her fabulous self!
