Daniel J. Keefe

Dan Keefe is president and COO of ManTech’s Mission Solutions & Services (MSS) Group. Under Mr. Keefe’s leadership, MSS supports the development, operation and maintenance of worldwide mobile, airborne, shipboard and land-based information technology enterprises and C4ISR systems. He also leads ManTech’s integrated logistics support for U.S. military forces and international customers as well as ManTech’s recognized leadership in systems engineering, program integration and test and evaluation. He is responsible for the full profit & loss management of this business.

Mr. Keefe has a recognized track record for successful business transformation and complex solution implementation in the highly competitive government service market. Before joining ManTech in 2011, he was a senior vice president and general manager at L-3 Communications Corporation, where he had oversight of the company’s largest government contract with $600 million per year revenue.

Mr. Keefe serves on the Board of Advisors for George Mason University, the Board of Directors for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and the board and audit committee for AFCEA.

A U.S. veteran, Mr. Keefe retired as a brigadier general following a distinguished Army career that spanned more than 30 years. His military career highlights include serving as commanding general of U.S. Forces in Kosovo and V Corps chief of staff during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also held a variety of command and staff positions in the United States, Germany, Korea and Italy and participated in non-combatant evacuations and humanitarian assistance operations in Africa.

Mr. Keefe holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the U.S. Military Academy and a Master of Arts in economics from the University of Oklahoma.
