George J. Pedersen
ManTech International Corporation, Fairfax, VA (1968-Present) - George J. Pedersen is the Chairman of the Board, CEO and Co-Founder
of ManTech International Corporation. ManTech is one of the leading providers of innovative technologies and solutions for mission-critical
national security programs for the Intelligence Community; the departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security and Justice;
the Space Community; and other U.S. federal government customers. ManTech has grown from two people to over 7,300 people with operations
in 40 countries. Revenues have grown from $431 million in 2001, just prior to the company’s initial public offering (IPO), to over $1.4 billion in 2007.
Revenues for 2008 are currently projected to be $1.7 billion.
ManTech International became a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ in February 2002 having successfully executed an IPO and then
a follow-on public offering in December 2002. Since that time the company has enjoyed significant internal growth and has made nine strategic
acquisitions: Aegis Research Corporation, CTX Corporation, Integrated Data Systems, MSM Security Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Affiliated
Computer Services, Gray Hawk Systems, Inc., GRS Solutions, SRS Technologies and most recently, McDonald Bradley, Inc.
ManTech has a long track record of providing highly skilled expertise and solutions involving systems engineering; systems integration;
software services; enterprise architecture; information assurance and security architecture; intelligence systems development;
operations and analysis support; space technology; network and critical infrastructure protection; information operations and computer forensics;
information technology; ground based communications system integration and engineering support; and global logistics and supply chain
management.
National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and Association for Enterprise Integration (AFEI) - Mr. Pedersen serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the NDIA, a trade association for the defense industry. He is also Vice Chairman of the Education and Lobbying Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors for AFEI. These two are key industry associations.
In 2005, he received the James Forrestal Industry Leadership Award from NDIA for his "demonstrated record of business accomplishment" and his active role in "helping to preserve and strengthen the nation's defense industrial base." Mr. Pedersen was chosen for his "astute business judgment, keen political instincts and a broad understanding of the vital role the industrial base plays in ensuring the nation's security," according to NDIA.
Institute for Scientific Research, Inc. (ISR,), Fairmont, West Virginia (1999- Present) – Mr. Pedersen is Chairman of the Board of
Directors for ISR, a non-profit organization that performs research and advanced development of software and related technologies including studies for NASA. The ISR is located in West Virginia where the organization is constructing a 263,000 sq. foot R&D facility.
GSE Systems, Inc., Columbia, MD (1993-Present) - Mr. Pedersen is Chairman of the Executive Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of GSE Systems, a public company that is a leading supplier of plant and full scope control room simulators to the nuclear power and petrochemical industries.
In 2006, Mr. Pedersen received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Corporate Growth National Capital Chapter. The award is given annually to individuals in the region that have contributed significantly to the region’s corporate growth over a number of years.
In February 2008, Mr. Pedersen received a Federal 100 Award from Federal Computer Week. He was chosen for having a significant influence on how the “federal government buys, uses and manages information technology,” and “for a risk-taking, vision and pioneering spirit in the federal IT community.”

Robert A. Coleman
Mr. Coleman is President and Chief Operating Officer of ManTech. Mr. Coleman was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company in September 2004 and elected as a Director of the Company in March 2006. Prior to that, he was the President of ManTech’s Information Systems and Technology organization. Before joining ManTech, Mr. Coleman was the CEO and President of Integrated Data Systems Corporation (IDS), a highly regarded provider of software engineering, computer security and enterprise architecture solutions to the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense that had revenues of approximately $40 million at the time it was acquired by ManTech. Founded by Mr. Coleman in 1990, IDS was acquired by ManTech in February 2003.

Kevin M. Phillips
Mr. Phillips is the Chief Financial Officer of ManTech International Corporation. Prior to being named Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Phillips served as Corporate Vice President and Chief of Staff for ManTech, in which capacity he played an active role in the integration of acquisitions and other strategic business issues. Mr. Phillips joined ManTech in February 2003. He was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of CTX Corporation, a leading provider of information technology and software strategies and solutions to the national Intelligence Community that had revenues of approximately $35 million at the time it was acquired by ManTech in December 2002. Mr. Phillips spent seven years in the executive management of CTX Corporation. Prior to that, he held various roles including controllerships in IT services providers to the government.

James N. Allburn
Mr. Allburn is the President of ManTech SRS Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of ManTech International Corporation since May 2007. Prior to the acquisition, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of SRS Technologies, a diversified, high-technology, $190 million Company providing aerospace services, technologies and products to government and commercial clients. Mr. Allburn retired from the U .S. Air Force in 1986 following a 23-year career in flying operations and research and development.

James D. Bryan
Major General James D. “Dave” Bryan, U.S. Army (Ret.) is President of ManTech’s Defense System Group, its largest subsidiary. He joined ManTech in January 2008. Prior to joining ManTech he was the Sector Vice President, Executive Customer Relations for Global Defense C4I and Space, Northrop Grumman Corporation. General Bryan began his 34-year military career in 1970 as a signal officer in the Army. He later became commander of the 112th Special Operations Signal Battalion and 35th Airborne Signal Brigade. In 2000, he was named Vice Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency/Commander, Joint Task Force for Computer Network Operations and promoted to Major General.

Kenneth J. Farquhar
Mr. Farquhar is President of ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation (MSEC). Mr. Farquhar joined ManTech in 1995 as a Vice President managing MSEC’s Engineering and Systems Support Group, and was named President of MSEC in December 2003. Before joining ManTech, he held numerous technical and management positions at Veda, Inc. and the Dynalectron Corporation in support of U.S. Navy aircraft flight test and engineering efforts at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD.

Joseph R. Fox
Mr. Fox is President of ManTech Information Systems and Technology (IS&T). Mr. Fox was named President of IS&T in September 2004. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of IS&T. Before joining ManTech, Mr. Fox was a Vice President of Integrated Data Systems Corporation (IDS), a highly regarded provider of software engineering, computer security and enterprise architecture solutions to the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense that had revenues of approximately $40 million at the time it was acquired by ManTech. He joined IDS in 1991, and was responsible for software development activities, business development and strategic planning. IDS was acquired by ManTech in February 2003.

Jay W. Kelley
Mr. Kelley is the President of ManTech's Space Systems business unit. Mr. Kelley joined ManTech in April 2003 and was appointed to his current position in April 2004. Previously he was Vice President of Mid-West Operations for ManTech. Before joining ManTech, Mr. Kelley served over 37 years with the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant General. He was a "charter" member of Toffler Associates, and he has additional professional experience as the chief operating officer for STA, Inc., and later, the Vice President for Military Programs for Lockheed Martin Technical Operations.

Thomas E. Mitchell
President of ManTech Security & Mission Assurance, Mr. Mitchell served previously as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of MSMA and before that was its Senior Vice President of Strategic Development. Prior to joining ManTech SMA, he served as Senior Vice President for ManTech Gray Hawk's Operations, Intelligence and Security Group. He joined ManTech in 2005 with the acquisition of Gray Hawk Systems, Inc. Before joining ManTech, Mr. Mitchell held a series of senior level operations positions that were key to Gray Hawk's impressive growth. Mr. Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Delaware and holds a M.P.A in Business from Jacksonville State University. He was also selected as a U.S. Army War College Fellow and attended the Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies.

Kurt J. Snapper
Senior Corporate Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, ManTech International Corporation, and President of ManTech Security Technologies Corporation. Mr. Snapper joined ManTech International Corporation in 1989, and was responsible for developing and managing security and risk management programs. He was named president of ManTech Security Technologies Corporation, which delivers integrated physical, technical and cyber security solutions to the federal government, when it was formed in 2000. Mr. Snapper was named Chief Technology Officer in 2003. As CTO, his responsibilities include coordinating development of technology solutions and investments in internal research and development programs. Mr. Snapper has over twenty-five years of experience in decision and risk analysis, specializing in life cycle security management for physical, technical, and cyber security programs. |
