Vajira Ranaviraja is a strategic growth and corporate development leader with over 20 years of experience driving strategy, market expansion, and business development across Federal Defense and Civilian markets. He currently serves as a Business Development Executive at MANTECH, where he leads business development for the Foreign Affairs Portfolio, including the Department of State, overseeing a $4B pipeline. In this role, he develops market strategies and guides pursuits from $5M to $800M+, aligning offerings in AI, cybersecurity, cloud and modernization with client priorities while strengthening executive-level government relationships.

Previously, Vajira was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Growth at RIVA Solutions, where he played a central role in scaling the company from $38M to $81M in revenue (2020–2023). He built and led corporate strategy, M&A and performance functions, executed RIVA’s first M&A framework, and expanded the pipeline by $3.3B. He also guided the firm through its mid-market transition and established processes that prepared RIVA to compete effectively in full-and-open competitions.

Earlier in his career, Vajira held leadership roles at Northrop Grumman, where he spearheaded strategic planning and market development efforts for the $7.5B Defense Systems Sector, securing $1.25B in contract awards, including the $850M Consular Systems Modernization program. His background also includes entrepreneurial consulting work, federal market research at Bloomberg Government and INPUT.

Vajira holds a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University School of Business, with a focus on strategy, new product development and international business. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology-Organizational Studies from the University of California, Davis.
