Alexander Walker has over 24 years of experience in healthcare IT, with expertise spanning systems analysis, project management and program oversight.

 

He began his career in this industry on the AHLTA program, the Department of Defense’s (DoD) electronic health record at the time, serving as a Systems Analyst and later as a Systems Analyst Lead.

Since joining MANTECH in 2009 as a Senior Business Analyst, Mr. Walker has supported multiple DoD and Veterans Affairs healthcare IT initiatives, including serving as Project Manager on several large program contracts. In 2019, he transitioned to the Defense Medical Logistics (DML) program at Fort Detrick, Maryland, where he continues to serve as a Project Manager. In this role, he provides oversight for both Service Operations and software development activities across the DML suite of systems, ensuring mission-critical medical logistics capabilities remain reliable and effective.

Mr. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from George Mason University and is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
