Jeff Deal serves as Senior Executive Director in MANTECH’s Data and AI Practice, where he helps drive operational excellence across mission-critical data and AI teams. Jeff’s leadership spans organizational strategy, client engagement, contracting, and cross-functional execution to ensure programs deliver measurable impact for government and commercial clients.

With more than 25 years of experience in business operations, planning, and organizational transformation, Jeff brings deep expertise in aligning advanced analytics and AI initiatives with real-world business and mission priorities. He has guided dozens of organizations through the practical integration of data science solutions, and his insights on common pitfalls in analytics adoption are widely recognized in industry forums. Jeff also co-authored Mining Your Own Business: A Primer for Executives on Understanding and Employing Data Mining and Predictive Analytics and has chaired the Predictive Analytics World – Healthcare conference.

Prior to joining MANTECH, Jeff served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Elder Research, where he led firm-wide operations and helped scale the organization’s data science and analytics consulting capabilities.

Jeff earned a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary.
