Mark Bortfeld leads a global team dedicated to serving the U.S. Navy and its missions.

The MANTECH team serving the Navy has over 1,700 highly qualified engineers, technicians and subject matter experts delivering solutions to the Navy’s toughest challenges and offering a full spectrum of  services. The team has engagement across the Navy with large concentrations in NAVSEA, NAVAIR,  NAVWAR and NAVFAC provider enterprises, to include all warfare centers and research and development organizations. This group is also engaged with Fleet Commanders, Type Commanders and Navy Training  commands.

With more than 30 years of experience in government contracting – including his tenure as a U.S. Navy  Avionics Technician for the A7-E Corsair – Mr. Bortfeld is respected for his expertise in implementing  new technologies, building strong teams and driving innovation in support of mission requirements. Programs he has led for the U.S. Navy span the range of science and engineering, software development and mission systems through enterprise IT and mission operations, including leadership of the Marine Corps portion of the Next Generation Enterprise Network contract. As a U.S. Navy veteran and corporate  executive, Mr. Bortfeld has dedicated his career to supporting our nation’s defense.
