Mark Roman is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with over two decades of experience securing military, industrial, and critical infrastructure assets. As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Cyber Practice at MANTECH, Mr. Roman directs the technical vision, innovation roadmap, and the implementation of cyber solutions vital to national security and federal missions. His core competencies include cyber risk analytics, defensive technologies, and adversarial emulation, all of which drive measurable resilience for mission-critical systems.
In addition to his leadership at MANTECH, Mr. Roman serves as an adjunct professor within the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Prior to his current appointment, he held the position of Chief of Cyber Technologies at Gryphon Technologies.
Mr. Roman’s career also encompasses distinguished public service as a Technical Expert and Senior Engineering Manager for the Department of the Navy; in this capacity, he oversaw the development, transition, and deployment of research and development initiatives for cutting-edge cybersecurity assets.
Mr. Roman holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
