In 2023, 2024 and 2025 Mr. Tait made the roster of ExecutiveMosaic’s “Wash100,” WashingtonExec’s “Top Execs to Watch” and the Virginia Business Top 500.
Previously, he was named to WashingtonExecs “Top 10 National Security Executives to Watch” in 2018 and was a 2016 Federal Computer Week Fed100 winner for leading the rescue of Healthcare.gov. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, a group dedicated to ending veteran homelessness.

Matt Tait is Chief Executive Officer and President of MANTECH.
He leads a global team of 8,700 employees who are committed to national and homeland security through the delivery of innovative solutions and technologies that solve some of the nation’s most challenging problems.
Mr. Tait joined MANTECH in 2018 and served as Chief Operating Officer. In this role he was responsible for leading the company’s global business strategies that enabled MANTECH to deliver, at speed, differentiating solutions to meet the sophisticated needs of the company’s diverse client base.
Under Mr. Tait’s leadership, MANTECH expanded and repositioned the company’s Intelligence, Federal Civilian and Department of Defense businesses to align with the company’s strategy of Bringing Digital to the Mission®. With Mr. Tait at the helm, MANTECH was named a “Glassdoor 2024 Top 50 Best-Led Company” in the United States.

Prior to joining MANTECH, Mr. Tait spent two decades at Accenture, where he led key initiatives that transformed IT performance across Federal Civilian, Intelligence and Defense sectors.
He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, a group dedicated to ending veteran homelessness. A veteran, Mr. Tait served for 10 years in the U.S. Navy and earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy.
