I am passionate about delivering high-quality Data and AI solutions, supporting mission-critical projects, and driving innovation and operational excellence. 

What drew you to ManTech?

I was drawn to ManTech for its reputation as a leading national security company and its commitment to innovation. I was thrilled to be offered a leadership role in shaping its Data and AI practice and to have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of Data and AI professionals. My role at ManTech is the perfect opportunity to leverage my experience in Data and AI, systems implementation, and Program Management to contribute to critical mission work.

What advice do you have for those looking to start a career in Data and AI?

Seek opportunities to work on diverse and complex projects, building both the depth and breadth in your experience, and continuously update your skills to keep pace with technological advancements.  

Develop strong communication and problem-solving skills. Being able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders is crucial. And work on your ability to collaborate effectively with others, as many projects require teamwork. 

Lastly, actively seek opportunities to demonstrate leadership at every stage of your career. Just as data serves as the cornerstone for successful AI implementation, leadership experience is essential for becoming a future leader. 

What do you wish people understood about Data and AI?

 I would like everyone to understand the enormous potential of Data and AI, the importance of governance and regulatory compliance, and the need for robust implementation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.  

I would emphasis that data is the backbone of AI. The performance and accuracy of AI systems are directly influenced by the quality and quantity of data. Additionally, I would reinforce that AI is meant to enhance human capabilities, not replace them. AI excels at large-scale data analysis, while humans provide essential context, creativity, and ethical judgment. 

How do you balance career and home life?

I utilize strong time management skills, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a disciplined approach to both my professional and personal commitments.  I also have an amazing and supportive husband and family. 

What’s your favorite place in the world?

Home or anywhere in the world with my husband and children.
