The month of November is recognized as National Veterans and Military Families Month and continues to be a growing American tradition to recognize the service and sacrifices of our Armed Forces community. Since our founding, ManTech has made supporting veterans through their transition from military duty to civilian life a core pillar and remains one of our core values today.

Veterans are widely recognized for their ability to lead, focus, problem solve and improve processes and efficiencies. Nearly 50 percent of our workforce are Veterans and we understand the importance of training and providing apprenticeship opportunities.

For all these reasons, ManTech has proudly partnered with the ServiceNow NextGen Veterans Program. Through this expansion of our partnership, qualified veterans will have the opportunity to receive custom ServiceNow training and one-on-one transition support through our ManTech Vets support group.

“ManTech is a mission-focused company, and we have been consistently named a Best for Vets Employer by Military Times,” says Srini Iyer, ManTech Chief Technology Officer and SVP of our Innovation and Capabilities Office. “This latest extension of our partnership with ServiceNow adds a new dimension to training, retraining and upskilling military veterans who work for us.”

He adds, “ServiceNow Veterans program is a full-immersion program that gives veterans the opportunity to gain high-demand IT skill sets. Our expanded ServiceNow partnership will enable us to develop workflow and business process automation and optimization to solve our customer’s tough problems.”

“Many employers seek to hire veterans because of their desire to serve the community,” says Tracy Miller Principal Program Manager, Veterans Programs at ServiceNow. “This is a great reason to hire veterans – they have served our nation and now we have the opportunity to serve them. The benefits of hiring a veteran go way beyond serving those who have served. Veterans are motivated and fiercely loyal. They are professional, mission-driven and resilient, and they adapt easily to difficult situations and can change direction on a dime. They are exceptional colleagues who will add value to any organization.”

As an industry leader, ManTech provides advanced technology solutions to the Defense, Intelligence and Federal Civilian sectors of government.
