Dayne Baird
Managing Director, Aerospace & Government Services, The Carlyle Group
Mr. Baird joined the ManTech Board of Directors in September 2022.
Mr. Baird is a Managing Director with U.S. Buyout at The Carlyle Group, focusing on buyouts, privatizations and strategic minority investments throughout the United States, and leads the firm’s efforts in the government services sector. Since joining Carlyle in 2003, Mr. Baird has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investments in ARINC Incorporated, Booz Allen Hamilton, CNSI, Landmark Aviation, Novetta, Two Six Technologies and Wesco Aircraft Holdings.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Baird worked in the M&A and Global Industrial groups of Lehman Brothers, where he focused on transactions in the industrial, aerospace and defense sectors.
Mr. Baird is also a member of the boards of Acentra Health and Two Six Technologies.
Mr. Baird received his MBA from Georgetown University, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and received his BS in business management from Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
