As an Executive Director with MANTECH, Major General George Franz, U.S. Army, (Ret.), Former Senior Advisor to the Commander and Director of Operations for U.S. Cyber Command, provides cyberspace operations and security expertise and leadership to help guide the company’s defense and security business initiatives.

In addition to his most recent role as Senior Advisor at for Commander U.S. Cyber Command, Franz served in a number of senior defense leadership positions including Commanding General of the Cyber National Mission Force and the U.S. Army’s Intelligence and Security Command.

Franz holds a master’s degree in Advanced Military Studies from the United States Army School of Advanced Military Studies, a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maine at Orono.
